A Note on Web Site Awards

We recognize that not all the awards are equal. Some, like Paul's Picks and ZDNet among others are carefully tested and reviewed. Some are based on popularity or user reviews. Some are quite strict; for example, our 8.18 rating out of 10 from Soft Scout for Grammar Slammer with Checkers may be one of the best recommendations we have received. A few awards may no longer be posted on some sites because of policy changes; for example, a few now charge for placement and reviews. They did not do so at the time our product was reviewed. It is possible that some ratings, especially those based on user reviews, may change over time. English Plus did not pay for any of the above reviews or awards, nor were they obtained in any link exchange agreement.
